1 Serving Of Nothing please

As I begin counting calories again, finally, I measure out everything I am eating so I know how much I am really eating. And, I am always amazed at how little a serving actual is. For example, a single serving of cereal, Special K in this instance, is about 6 spoonfuls of actual food (for me at least).

One serving is designated as 3/4 of a cup of cereal and 1/2 of a cup of skim milk. And there it is in the photo. That takes me about 45 seconds to eat—and that is when I am taking my time! Plus, once I'm done with it, I feel like I've eaten nothing—bonus! And in case you are curious, that single serving in the photo above is about 170 calories, which doesn't seem like a lot, until you realize you are only eating 1,400 calories for the entire day.

Just looking at that picture is making me hungry. I gotta go.
